Projects

MPCSFaas

Final project for MPCS 52040 (Distributed Systems)

Built a distributed FaaS platform for parallel, fault-tolerant execution. Developed a FastAPI front end with Redis persistence, a pub/sub dispatcher, and ZMQ-based worker pools (REQ/REP and DEALER/ROUTER). Benchmarked performance and achieved full unit test coverage with Pytest

Guestbook Enhanced

Migrated a Flask app from EC2 to ECS/Fargate using a Blue/Green–style deployment. Cut over DNS with <60s downtime. Packaged app into a Docker container hosted in ECR, integrated API Gateway and Lambda with DynamoDB, and built a CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions and Terraform

Cloud Resume Challenge

Built a static site on S3 with DNS via Route53 and global distribution through CloudFront (you're looking at it!). Added a Lambda function behind API Gateway for a DynamoDB-backed visitor counter. Automated provisioning with Terraform and implemented CI/CD with GitHub Actions, including Cypress testing
